St. Urban’s Catholic Primary School requires two Teaching Assistants – one full time and another 4 days per week
to start in September 2026.
The academy council are seeking two talented, creative and highly enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our happy, hardworking and successful team.
Post: Teaching Assistant (Permanent)
Grade: B3 (scale point 7-11)
Hours/Weeks Worked: 30 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks)
Salary range: £19,300 - £21,500
St. Urban’s Catholic Primary School is a very popular and welcoming Catholic School situated in North Leeds in the Parish of St. Jeanne Jugan. We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants to join our school in September 2026.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to connect directly with the brilliant pupils and young people we care for, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education.
We are looking for persons who:-
· Have strong interpersonal skills and high expectations for all children
· Are able to effectively assist children in the process of learning to read
· Are able to uphold the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church
· Are excellent role models
